02 Line Perpendicular To Given Line
If you want to draw a line perpendicular to given line, do the following:

-
Draw a line with convenient length and direction.

Draw a second line so as to cross the first one (with similar length).

Mark a point at the intersection, as shown.

Draw a circle using the compass.

The circle should intersect the two lines initially drawn. Mark at least 3 of the intersections as 5, 6, 7.

Using a straight edge and a pencil connect 5 with 6 to draw a line.
-
In a similar fashion connect 6 with 7.
-
Lines 5-6 and 6-7 form a 90 degree angle, if done correctly.
